Well alot as happened since last February. Here's the quick low down!
Drew celebrated his 8th birthday! Can't believe how quickly he is changing into a young man! Drew is such a blessing from God and we are thankful for everyday we get to watch him grow and change. We pray that Drew grows to love God with his whole heart.

In March we decided that we were going to put our house up for sale, so we started tha crazy process. Our house sold the last week of June and we closed the end of July! God's hand was totally in all the details of that process and it was a really great, but bittersweet experience. In between March and July, we celebrated Nick's 4th birthday and were able to take some time to go on vacation with the Albrecht Family. Great times!

As soon as we got back from vacation we were moving out of our house and into Mary and Tony's basement, to await the completion of our new home. We are so thankful to Mary and Tony for allowing us to stay with them. We learned alot from one another and had a wonderful time. In November when we moved out that too, was an exciting, but bittersweet time. We had formed a bond and routine, especially Mary and I and it was hard to say goodbye to it.

We finally closed on our new house the second week of November. We love our new home and thank God for this blessing.

Joel celebrated his 6th birthday and we were able to host Thanksgiving with the Albrecht Family. Fun times! God is good all the time, all the time God is good!

Albrecht Happenings!

It's been awhile since my last post and of course lots of things have happened in that time. We celebrated Joel's 5th birthday! I can't believe he's 5! He had a scooby doo birthday party! He loved having all his friends and cousins over and of course all his gifts! :> He loves birthday parties! Joel is such an independent little guy! He has learned to use the microwave, which he was reminded that was only to be used if mommy was near and knew what he was putting in the microwave. I'm not really wanting to buy a new microwave just yet! :> He will start speech therapy this month, so we are excited for the changes we will see in Joel through that process. He is very excited because he gets to go to a "big" school for the therapy. He's always asking when he gets to go to kindergarten. He loves to do "homework". He received some workbooks for his birthday and Christmas so he has been busy working on those. Joel brings so much joy and laughter to our family. God continues to bless us with his sweetness and his stubbornness, which of course, he gets from his father. :>

Soon after Joel's birthday we celebrated Christ's birthday. Christmas was spent this year at home, it was a bit more relaxing, as we were not traveling. However, we dearly missed our family in Pennsylvania. We truly love going back for the holidays! During Christmas Dave was not feeling well, we thought it was just a virus, but it wasn't. It turns out he had pneumonia and bronchitis. On top of feeling horrible from all that he also had cracked a rib, so it was very painful for him. I've never seen him that sick. He is much better now and back to his old self, but it took him awhile to get back on his feet. I'm so glad he is better!

I'm excited to report that our basement is finished again, for the second time. :> We are really enjoying being down there, especially after a year of being unable to use the space.

We are actually preparing our house to put it up for sale. The process of selling a house is very exciting and scary. We have been in prayer about this and feel that God is leading us in this direction. We are looking at houses in the Zionsville area. We would like for the boys to go to public school next year, as private school will be a very expensive option for us. We will see where God leads us.

We hope that everyone is having a great start to 2010. We pray God's blessing on each one of you. We love you and can't wait until we see you all again. Love, Heather and the guys

We had the ability to travel to Pennsylvania to visit with Dave's family for Thanksgiving. It was so nice to spend time with everyone. We left Tuesday afternoon, along with mom Albrecht, Tony, Mary and Anna and arrived at Aunt Lynn and Uncle Bob's house that evening around 9:30. The boys did well traveling both there and back. We stayed at Aunt Lynn's house Tuesday through Friday and then again on Saturday night. Thank you so much Aunt Lynn for having us. We always enjoy our time spent with you and your family. We had yummy food at Aunt Rachel's, Aunt Lynn's and Uncle Tom's houses different nights of the week. Thank you all for opening your homes to us. We had an awesome time! We were also able to go into Philly and spend time with Aunt Dee, Marie, Tom, Maggie, Uncle Roy, Aunt Nancy, Lauren, Roy and Collin. Thank you again Aunt Nancy for taking us to the indoor fun center, the boys loved it. Thanks for also opening your home to us. The food was wonderful and the boys loved making their reindeer pots. :> I am so blessed! We were unable to be with all of our family at Thanksgiving, but those who weren't with us were never far from our hearts and thoughts. God is so good! I'm so thankful for the wonderful family that I have and am able to be a part of.

It's hard to believe that Drew is in 2nd grade. He is growing up too fast. I'm not sure where the time has gone. Here are all three of the boys in his classroom. Drew is really enjoying school, which I am very glad. His teacher, Mr. Cook is awesome! Actually, all the teachers Drew has had have been amazing.

This coming Wednesday is the day that Joel and Nick start school and boy are they excited. Nick has been asking when it's his turn to go to school since Drew started. I'm excited for the boys! I'm also excited to have a few hours of me time. :> Hope everyone is doing well! Love, The Albrechts

The boys and I were able to head out to the fair this year. Although it was pretty hot, we had a fun time. We met up with my sister and her family, my mom, Lindsey, Granny and Aunt Brenda. The boys enjoyed there time at O'Reily fun Park, as well as riding some fun rides and seeing the pigs. I enjoyed the corn on the cob and the pulled pork sandwich I had. Yum! The boys were pretty tired by the time we left that evening. I'm already looking forward to the fair next year. :>

Sorry, no dolls at this house!

A couple of weeks ago we had the fun fortune of watching my neice for the day. Many of you may remember that I watched Anna last year for Mary and Tony, so it was nice to have her over for a visit. She loves the boys and the boys adore her! :> She is walking now and interacting so much more with the boys. Thanks Mary for letting us spend the day with Anna. We love you Anna Banana!

This post is a couple months behind. The middle of July we welcomed Bella, our chocolate Lab into our family. She has been a wonderful dog and addition to our family! The boys have really helped out with feeding her and making sure she has water in her bowl. :> Bella is now almost 5 months and is about 20 lbs heavier then when the picture was taken. :> We love you Bella girl!

Dave and I were able to take the boys to the zoo saturday, this is something we aren't often able to do because of my work schedule. We had a good time! We were able to see the dolphin show, ride the train and also ride the roller coaster ride. We were able to travel to South Carolina with Daves mom, dad, sister, brother in law, niece and a couple from church. Our days were filled with laying and playing by the pool, going to the beach, golfing and of course eating. It was a much needed break! The boys had a really great time. Drew was able to go to a baseball game with Pop-Pop and Mr. Bryant, which he had a blast and came away with some souvineirs. :> The smaller boys were able to go to Barefoot Landing with the rest of us and even got to ride some carnival rides. We always enjoying going to Myrtle Beach.

We had a fun time celebrating Nicks Birthday Party! He received some really fun gifts! Thank you to those who came to celebrate with us, we had a great time visiting and celebrating with you. I really can't believe he is 3. I'm just excited he is telling everyone he is 3 now and not 1. :) I'm so thankful to God that he has blessed me with three healthy boys. My Granny works at the Motor Speedway, working security, during the races. This year she invited our family out to the track to see the Transformer, Bumblebee and to see the track. Well we are into June, I can't believe how fast this year is going, and we've already been on vacation and are now in the start of VBS. Before I know it school will be starting. Crazy! The boys are doing well. Drew is taking a reading course this summer down at IUPUI for 5 weeks. He loves it! So, hopefully that will help to strengthen his reading and give him a boost for 2nd grade. He is getting so big, actually they are all getting so big! Joel will be in Pre-K this fall and Nick is getting ready to turn 3 next weekend. To top that they are eating us out of house and home. :> I'm so thankful they are healthy and happy little boys! God has truly blessed me with some awesome, passionate, determined, messy and energetic little boys! We have a lot of things planned for the summer so stay tuned for lots of pictures.

Our first spring program that we attended was for Joel and Nick. This years theme was a western theme. The boys did really well. School ended this yesterday for Joel and Nick. It's hard to believe that Joel will be in Pre-K next year and Nick will be in the 3's class. They are growing up so fast! I'm really enjoying this time with them, they are at a really fun and outgoing age. We also had Drew's Spring Program. That was a bit interesting, seeing that Joel and Nick are still not able to sit for an entire program, basically an hour without needing to go potty or get a drink. They try o find any reason to leave their seats. :> So, Nick tells us, "I need a drink!" I said, "okay, wait for daddy and he will take you." Next thing we know Nick is waving his fist in the air and chanting, "Mountain Dew, Mountain Dew!" I looked at Dave, with that look of course, and he wisked him out. It was pretty funny! So, here are some boys at their spring programs.

We were able to hang out with Landon and Micah on Thursday, which is always fun. The boys all enjoy being with one another. Here they are just before bed time. The weather is wonderful here! Yeah! Drew had a basketball game today, which was the first one I have been able to attend. He scored a basket so that was exciting. It was neat to see him involved in a new sport. This is what Nick came out in after Dave asked him to go put his underwear back on. I guess I should move the underwear drawer from the top to the bottom. :> Hope everyone is having a great week. We met with Drew's reading teacher and found out that he is doing better than we thought, but he still has some areas that we need to continue working on. Dave has been working with him each night here at home to help him. It is a great feeling to see that all that effort is paying off. Please continue to keep our family in your prayers. Drew is really trying so hard and we want him to be successful and really love school. We are hoping that this is just an immaturity issue and that he will grow out of it. Thanks! Love, Heather

I've waited to blog about this because I really wanted Nick to be completely potty-trained before. Nick has been using the big boy potty for 3 and 1/2 weeks now and I am happy to report that we are fully potty trained. Now hopefully I'm not jinxing myself, but he has been dry at night and nap time for 5 days now. Yeah! It is really exciting to have all the boys potty-trained, but sad, as this is my last one that I will potty-train. Oh, but the excitement of not having to change a diaper far out ways the sadness. :) Here are some pics of Nick. Enjoy! The other boys are doing well. Drew is going to be celebrating his 7th birthday this coming Friday. I can't believe I have a 7 year old. He is pretty excited about his birthday party. Stay tune for a blog about the party. Joel is doing great. He is active as ever. I still have to remind him that jumping is for the floor only and not the couch for bed. He has couch privileges taken away on some occasions because he constantly jumps. I think it is time for a trampoline. All the boys are so much fun and so loving. They got the WII for Christmas and so that has been the source of their entertainment a lot this winter. However, they are really ready for the warm weather so they can be outside.

We are excited to be traveling with Mary and Anna to Florida for Spring Break. Drew wore his Hawaiian shirt all day the other day because he was so excited about going to Florida. He was sad that daddy and Uncle Tony were not going, but was okay once I told him he could call them daily. :) He keeps telling everyone that we are going, but daddy and Uncle Tony have to stay home and work. Such a thoughtful little guy.

We had a great Christmas and a nice visit to Pennsylvania to visit Dave's family. My brother, Bradley, was able to be home for Christmas so we were able to spend time with him as well, which was awesome. We were very sad to see him go back to Texas. Upon arriving home from PA we discovered that our basement was flooded. YIKES! There are pics below of before and after basement demo. We currently have a demoed basement, new sump pump installed and a check waiting to be put to use restoring our basement back to one piece. It will be a long process, but it will get there some day. :)
The boys are doing well and growing like weeds. It seems we are constantly going to the grocery store for more food. They are 7,4, and 21/2 and they are already eating us out of house and home. :)
It's hard to believe that Drew will be 7 soon, Joel is 4 and my baby is 2 1/2. YIKES! They are such energetic sweet little men. I'm so proud of them! Drew is doing well in first grade and really enjoying it. He is playing basketball this winter and loves it. Joel loves school and his trains! He is missing his train table, but the wii is a nice fill in for now. :) Nick is almost completely out of diapers, as we are in the midst of potty training. We are still using diapers at night, but are almost completely potty trained during the day. Dave took him out to run errands in undies today and he didn't have one accident. I think we will venture to church tomorrow and see how he does. Yeah!

December is a busy month for our family. Between birthdays, Anniversary and Christmas, we can't seem to find a relaxing day in December. It is lots of fun, but it leaves you feeling very sleepy. So, this December, my mom turned 50, we celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary, Joel turns 4, my brother has some leave from the Army so he is coming home, lots of Christmas gatherings with family and friends, work and then this year we are traveling to Pennsylvania to celebrate Christmas with Dave's family. Let us not forget that I work Christmas Eve night and we are leaving Christmas morning as soon as I get home. OH BOY!

Last Sunday the children had a Christmas program at Church and all the boys were in it. Drew was a wise man, Joel was a, oh yeah, he fell asleep and so he was with Dave during the program, and Nick was an angel. Here are some pics of the program. The other post pictures will be of Drew's Program at school, Dave and I out for our Anniversary and Joel's 4th Birthday Party. We had a party for my mom over the weekend to celebrate her 50th Birthday. We had a great time visiting with family and friends. Mom, I am so thankful for you and all that you give to our family. Thursday, Dave left, with some men from church, for an apologetics conference in North Carolina and just got home this morning around 3am. So, needless to say, the boys and I had some quality time together. Thursday evening we headed to Castleton Square mall to pick up Drew's first pair of eye glasses, which, he looks absolutely so stinkin cute in. (look for pics to come). Friday I ventured to Chuckie Cheese with all three of them, what a time. :) They are so much fun! I am so blessed to have these handsome boys. We ate pizza and played games and when it was time to leave they just packed up and off we went. Drew had basketball practice Friday night and Saturday morning so off we went to practice. The boys did a great job, which took crowd stress off of me. It can be crazy trying to keep track of everyone and make sure Drew makes it to the right spot for practice. He did and he did a great job! We had a big weekend and the boys did well, but daddy was missed. We missed you so much Dave. The boys and I are so thankful that you are in our lives. You are a awesome husband and wonderful father to our boys. I'm so glad you were able to have time for yourself, but we are so glad to have you back. Hope everyone is staying warm here in Indiana. Happy Halloween! We have been pretty busy the last two months. Between buying a new van, new washer and dryer, happenings with church, work and just the ins and outs of raising three hilarious boys, time has just flown by. Everyone is healthy and enjoying the school year thus far. We did find out that Drew needed glasses, so we are awaiting there arrival. He is very excited. Being a glasses wearer, I didn't want to burst his happiness bubble about how they get old after awhile. :) There are some other issues that Drew is having with school so I would ask that you keep our family close in prayer. We have decisions to make and want to make the best decision for Drew. Thank you

This October we have had a lot of fun. First we went to the Pumpkin Patch with Grandma and Grandpa Auch and Uncle Chris, Aunt Laura, Micah and Landon. We also had the opportunity to go over to Granny Pats house with Laura and Chris and jump in the leaves. The other night the boys got to carve their pumpkins with lots of help from mom and dad. They aren't really into the scooping the pumpkin guts out yet. :) I am at work tonight so I was unable to take the boys trick or treating with Dave. Dave was able to make it to Granny Pats and then out to Grandma Auch's house tonight. G&G Nichols are in Gatlinburg and G&G Albrecht had a wedding rehearsal to attend. We missed you guys. Hi all!

Yes, we are still here. Our life has been very busy, so bare with me as I fill you in. Let's start with the kids, since they are my life right now. Drew is doing very well in first grade. He loves his teacher and all his friends. He has completed three speeling test, 7 bible memory verses, several reading lessons and several other important mind strengthening activities. :) We are really into our school groove and it is going pretty smoothly. Homework is a bit of a challenge, but we are all getting through. :)

Joel loves school! He attends Monday and Wednesdays. He would love to go everyday if he could. It is hard to believe that he will be four years old. He is such a fun little guy. (They are all so much fun!)

Nick is attending school one day a week. He, too, would go everyday if he could. He is growing up way too fast as well. It seems like everyday he learns a new word or a bad habit- from his brothers of course. :)

They are at such fun ages. They are a lively crew, but I enjoy them so much.

Here are some pictures of our trip to Branson Missouri. We went to the Magic House in St. Louis with Mom Albrecht while Dave and Dad played golf. Joel points to Missouri on the map and tells me it wants to go back to the magic house. He wishes we lived closer. He also has informed me that he wants to go to Montana. :) Enjoy the pics! These boys are so sweet!

Well I finally took the boys to have their pictures taken the other day. I soon realized why we have neglected it for so long. :) Let's just say by the time we were done we all went home and took naps. Here are some of the pictures. It is hard to believe how fast they are growing into young men. Drew will be in 1st grade this fall. He is so loving and full of energy. He is pretty excited because his two front teeth are finally coming in. Yeah! He lost one of them when he was four from an accident, so we are pretty happy to see the new one finally coming through. He is such a funny and sweet little guy. Joel is 3 and 1/2 and so funny as well. I would say that he is our little guy who knows what he wants and can be a little stubborn at times. He is so silly and just growing into a little thinker. He loves to sing and learn knew things. He is at that age where he wants to do everything for himself. Okay most times, but still needs a bit of help at other times. He is so cute. And finally, Nick our youngest just turned two. I can't believe that my baby is growing up. He is so sweet, but he doesn't take much from his brothers. He loves to still cuddle, but is searching for his independence as well. That has been a bit hard for me, I still want him to be my baby. He loves his brothers and loves trying to mimic all they do. God has truly truly blessed David and I will three wonderful little guys. I can't wait to see what this next year will hold for them.

This past week Dave, the boys and I had the opportunity to go camping with some of Dave's family. We met his Uncle Tom, Christina, Aunt Lynn, Uncle Bob, Andrew, Amy and Elizabeth in Raystown PA. We all had a really fun time. Drew and Dave went out on Uncle Tom's boat for some tubing. Drew loved it! We hope to go next year and have more of the family join us. What started off as a rainy day turned out to be a great day. We were able to go to my mom's house and the boys swam and we ate lots of yummy food. In the evening, I unfortunately had to go to work, but Dave and the boys were able to go to his parents house in the evening. The boys really enjoyed the fireworks. Below are some pictures that I took at my mom's house. The boys love the pool and love it when Grandma Auch gets in with them. I also was able to capture Landon's first time eating angel food cake. Okay, sorry it has been awhile since I posted. We have been busy since my last post, but really who isn't busy when you have kids. It seems like I get behind on everything, LAUNDRY and BLOGGING.

So anyways, let me catch you all up. I will have to update pictures tonight. We just celebrated Nicholas, my youngest sons, 2nd birthday. I can't believe he is 2. We had an awesome time celebrating his birthday and my husbands 30th birthday party. We bought a cyclone water slide from toys r us and the kids and Dave had an awesome time on it. The yard took a hard hit, but is doing okay. :)

It has been so nice here this past week. The boys and I have been spending as much time outside as we can. They love to take walks, play in their sandbox, and on their playset. Last night was Joels spring program for preschool. He did really well and was too cute. All the kids were so cute and funny. We also were able to watch Evan and Micah two of our nephews who also attend preschool there. This will be Evan's last year in preschool. He will be joining Briana and Drew next year in SCHOOL. Yeah! Hey everyone, hope you are all doing well. Yesterday we celebrated Drew's 6th Birthday. We had a party at Chuckiecheese pizza, which was lots of fun. I will post pictures of that later. Yesterday we also had a little flooding in our basement. We discovered that our water heater had a leak in it. However it had done some damage by the time we realized and found it. Our new best friend is the fan :) We have about five fans and a big dehumidifier down trying to get rid of all the water and moisture.We know that we will have to replace all the flooring in the office, but we are not sure about the carpeting in the big room. The carpet installer is coming next week to try and stretch it back into place. If he is unable to do that then we will need to replace the carpet in the big room. For now all I can say is that we are all okay, praise God and things are a bit windy around here. :) Here are some pictures of the basement and of course of the boys. Take care and have a great week. Easter Egg Hunt

I wanted to invite everyone that has children to an Easter Egg Hunt at my church. The church is located in Eagletown, just west south of westfield off of 32. The church is called the Journey Church and it is located at 17716 Eagletown Road. The Hunt will be held on Saturday March 22, 2008 at 11:00 am. There will be lunch provided. Long overdo

Hey everyone!

It has been awhile since I posted, so let me update you. Well, I'm saddened to say that I did not get the manager position, but I am planning on trying to get my masters. Clarian partners with University of Indianapolis, so all I would have to pay for our my books. We will see what turns out. Joel and Nick both have been sick, but are starting to feel better. They both had ear infections and colds. The doctor told me that Joels tubes are not in his ear drum, but just in the canal. He may have to go back for a second set of tubes if he continues to have ear infections. Please keep him in your prayers. Drew continues to do well in school and is a week away from celebrating his sixth Birthday. It is hard to believe that I have a 6 year old. Yikes! All my boys are such a blessing. There are all so different from one another it is so neat to seem them grow into their own little man. Dave is busy at work and at church. Last Sunday the band made their way to Lynhurst Baptist to play for several churches. Drew and I went to watch and had a really good time. The bad will be traveling up to Tippecanoe next weekend to play at a youth retreat. I'm so glad that God has blessed Dave with some much talent and dedication.Work is busy for me too, so I have been trying to pick up extra whenever I can. Well we hope you are all doing well. Hi all! We hope that you all have had a great week. Dave has been really busy at work, but is doing well. At church we have someone interested in maybe playing drums on Sunday, please keep that in your prayers. The boys are doing great. Nick goes around calling for Drew and Joel. I think he is just so impressed with himself because when I boys come to him he runs the other direction. Ha! Drew is really doing well in all day Kindergarten and seems to really like the schedule. He does go to the "Doctor" alot, a.k.a. for Ms. Banta the school nurse. He goes for anything and everything. I gave him chapstick for his lips the other day and he still went to see her for some chapstick. He is too much. :) Joel is doing well, he is so stinkin sweet. He ask to go to school everyday after I drop Drew off, poor boy. :) He loves Dory and Little Einsteins. I'm doing well. I have applied for a position at work and would ask that you all keep me in your prayers. This coming Tuesday I have three interviews, one with the staff, one with the manager and one with the head doctor of the unit. New to the Blogging World

I decided to start a blog page so that all our famiily and friends who do not see us on a daily basis can keep up with the happenings in our family. We just celebrated Christmas and the boys had an awesome time. Along with Christmas, Dave and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary and Joel celebrated his 3rd Birthday.
